  • Report this post Migrating to Apache Infrastructure

As part of the transition of CloudStack to the Apache Software Foundation, Citrix will be redirecting to a site hosted on Apache infrastructure and maintained by the Apache CloudStack podling community. The move will take place Monday, ahead of the release of Apache CloudStack 4.0.0-incubating.

As you might rememeber, Citrix proposed CloudStack to Apache in April of this year. It was accepted by Apache in mid-April, and the project has been working hard on getting all of its infrastructure up and running, and getting the first release out the door. Now, the release is right around the corner and it’s time to re-locate

The current site will continue to be available at, and will be the source of information about community events around open source cloud computing. The forums, blog, and event calendar will all remain. Some of the CloudStack specific forums will be read-only and we recommend users subscribe to the cloudstack-users mailing list for questions. The Citrix cloud community team will continue to post updates to the blog and calendar and keep it fresh.

Your user information will not be transferred, and you’ll still be able to log in and sign up for events, post comments, and so on.

Citrix supports the open source community via developer support and evangeslism. We have a number of developers and evangelists that participate actively in the open source community in Apache Cloudstack, OpenDaylight, Xen Project and XenServer. We also conduct educational activities via the Build A Cloud events held all over the world.
