Is it possible to deploy cloud with Only L2 switch 9 months 3 weeks ago #13042

Can i deploy a simple cloud environment with only L2 switch or do i need a l3 switch for deployment with 2 xen hosts and openfiler as storage ?
The administrator has disabled public write access.

Yes, you can

I use 3 boxes for CloudStack, 1 for management server, 2 for Hypervisors (Xen Server)
I use 2 switches, 1 10/100 for public internet, 1 Gigabit for internal CloudStack network.

L3 is provided by ISP, I never touch it, just have IP configurations e.g. IP range, netmask, gateway, dns only.
The administrator has disabled public write access.
