TOPIC: XCP-System Resource Sharing, Computational Cluster

XCP-System Resource Sharing, Computational Cluster 7 months 5 days ago #13035

Hi,

Iam new to cloudstack implementation.

We are trying to implement the IaaS private cloud internally in our organization.

By using the administration guides and learning's we created the same and tested the features of Cloud stack.

**** But we are not able to achieve the Computational Cluster architecture ( Grid Computing ), which is told to be as one of the feature for going to cloud.

Our setup :-

> 1 Management Server

> 2 XCP Hosts

Both XCP Hosts have 16 GB.

14 GB RAM is utilized in both the XCP HOSTS.

So overall i have 4 GB of RAM free. Can i use this 4 GB of RAM completely for one particular VM.???

I regret if there are any mistakes in my understanding. It would be very good if someone can explain me this kind of allocation is possible or not ?
